Overview
As part of its ongoing educational mission, SPCC is organising a live, in-person symposium entitled “Best practices in antiemetic control”, scheduled to take place during the MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting 2025 in Seattle (June 26-28, 2025).
This session will provide an opportunity for a focused discussion among leading experts on recent developments and practical strategies in the prevention and management of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Topics will include the mechanisms of prolonged vomiting, barriers to accessing antiemetic therapies, and approaches to individualising care.
The session is intended for a multidisciplinary audience — including clinicians, nurses, researchers, and patient advocates — and will aim to address persistent gaps in current practice by offering updated, evidence-based insights.
After the live event, the symposium will be made available on-demand via OncoCorner, SPCC’s e-learning platform, allowing broader access to the educational content beyond the conference.
Further information and on-demand access details will be shared soon.
