This one-day course is designed to equip healthcare professionals, managers, and decision-makers with the strategic mindsets, practical tools, and leadership skills necessary to foster a culture of innovation, navigate organisational change, and implement measurable, value-driven improvements in cancer care delivery.
Learning objectives
• Enhance strategic thinking in cancer care, with a focus on systems leadership, value-based healthcare, and innovation ecosystems.
• Develop skills to lead change by creating an environment that fosters collaboration, adaptability, and risk-taking within oncology organisations.
• Explore real-world innovation challenges through case studies and international best practices in oncology innovation.
• Understand and use metrics and KPIs to measure innovation impact, including patient outcomes, care integration, cost-effectiveness, and long-term sustainability.
The course is held entirely in English and fluency in English is necessary for admission.

Practicalities
Selected participants will benefit from access to the course and its educational materials, as well as meals according to the programme.
It will be held on Saturday 09 May 2026 from 09:00 to 17:30. Arriving late for the start or leaving early at the end are not acceptable.
Course venue: Campus Bocconi, Via Roberto Sarfatti, 10, 20136 Milan, Italy.
Travel expenses and hotel booking should be organised and paid by the participant.
Accreditation
Participants will be issued a certificate of attendance at the end of the event by completing the evaluation questionnaire (minimum attendance 100% of in-person event).
Application for CME recognition will be submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA).
