Background and Project Format

Considering the importance of nutritional status in Geriatric Oncology, Sharing Progress in Cancer Care is carrying out a targeted project which foresees two stages:

On 18 September 2023, a Task Force on Nutrition in Geriatric Oncology was held via virtual videoconference, with the participation of 7 world-renowned experts and Dr Matti Aapro (SPCC President and Scientific Coordinator, as moderator).

A position paper was published in the European Journal of Cancer, targeting health care professionals and decision makers.
