SPCC EUROPE Foundation

We are glad to announce the establishment of the SPCC EUROPE Foundation, an independent non-profit entity based in Warsaw, Poland.

Operating on a European level, the Foundation is dedicated to collaborating with European partner on training and education activities through European-funded projects.

SPCC is now a Member of the UICC

Sharing Progress in Cancer Care is now a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)!

SPCC President, Dr Matti Aapro, said:

“SPCC, a not-for-profit educational entity registered in Switzerland, and through its Foundation in Poland, is happy to join the community of UICC members. We hope this will reinforce our interaction and open new collaborations worldwide. Together we shall improve the prevention, early detection, treatment and support of citizens and patients, decreasing the gap in access to care.”

A European project led by IDIBAPS will test a diagnostic genomic test for breast cancer to improve patients’ quality of life

SPCC is proud to announce its participation as an Associated Partner in the European DEFINITIVE Project, led by CLÍNIC-IDIBAPS.

The Project will be conducted to demonstrate that use of genomic test HER2DX® improves quality of life in patients with early-stage HER2+ breast cancer while also maintaining drug efficacy.

SPCC Signs an MoU with EONS

Sharing Progress in Cancer Care signed a memorandum of understanding with the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).

Dr Matti Aapro said: “SPCC is honoured by the trust of EONS in cooperating in various educational activities. We believe that the future co-creation of some events will be of importance for all health care providers, especially nurses and, when applicable, to patients in the whole world”.
